A panel discussion from the leading executives in the financial sector:

Mozamil Afzal, Chief Investment Officer, EFG Asset Management Limited
Mozamil joined EFG in 1994 and prior to joining EFG he was an Analyst within the Macroeconomic Policy Division at HM Treasury.  At EFG, he has been responsible for the management of a series of fixed income funds and portfolios and has held supervisory roles in a number of multi-manager hedge and equity funds.  He was appointed as Head of Investment Management of EFG Private Bank Limited in March 2003 and he is  Managing Director of EFG Asset Management.

Theo Caldwell, Investment Advisor and Columnist
Theo Caldwell is an Investment Advisor and the autor of Finn the half-Great. He is a Columnist for the National Post and Sun Media newspapers, as well as a television and radio commentator on financial and policy matters. His published work can be found at www.theocaldwell.com

Aron Gampel, Vice-President & Deputy Chief Economist, Scotiabank
Scotia Economics in Toronto provides economic research to the worldwide operations of the Scotiabank Group of Companies. Aron is a senior advisor to Scotiabank’s executive management and provides regular briefings to the organization’s diverse client base. Prior to joining Scotiabank 25 years ago, Aron spent six years as an economist with the investment firm of Pitfield Mackay Ross Ltd., and four years on the research staff of the Ontario Economic Council analyzing the economic impact of federal and provincial government programme initiatives, both in Toronto.

Mark Maybank, Chief Operating Officer of Canaccord Capital Inc. and the President & Chief Operating Officer of Canaccord Capital Corporation
Mark joined Canaccord in 2001 and was responsible for its research activity. Before joining Canaccord, he was an executive vice-president at a technology services and software development firm, a technology analyst with Yorkton Securities, chief financial officer of a US based cellular services company and held various positions with a large multinational accounting and consulting firm.

Moderated by Oded Orgil, Senior Vice President, Director of Corporate Development, Canaccord
Oded is responsible for coordinating Canaccord's national recruiting initiatives and is based in Toronto. He joined Canaccord from HSBC Securities Canada where he was a Regional Manager. He has extensive experiance as a producer, Branch Manager and regional leader. Prior to joining HSBC, Oded built businesses for CIBC Wood Gundy (Toronto region) and Richardson Partners (Alberta region)
